The deal, in plain language
What you're buying
CowrieOS is a software subscription — a planning tool. The fee (₹200/ month or ₹1,999/year when payments launch) is a software licence fee, not an advisory fee, brokerage, or commission. We execute no transactions and hold no funds.
As-is, verify before acting
The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Numbers can be wrong — from our bugs, from third-party data, from your inputs. You agree to verify figures independently before making financial decisions, and that CowrieOS’s liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
Third-party data
NAVs and scheme metadata come from public AMFI data via third-party services that we don’t control; availability and accuracy are not guaranteed. AI responses come from Anthropic’s API under their terms.
Subscription, renewal, refunds
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current term runs to its end (the free tier and your data remain). Statutory refund rights aside, fees for a started term are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice before renewal.
Acceptable use
One household per subscription. Don’t resell, scrape, reverse the rate limits, or use the product to provide advisory services to third parties without registration — that’s between you and SEBI.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest survive. Continued use after posted changes is acceptance.
